Metadata information¶
You can use the Metadata Information option to view the list of available fields, field labels, field types, and original field types of the source. There are a couple of ways to access this option. The first one is by using the Data Sources view as shown below:
The second way to access this information is from the visualization editor as shown below:
The Metadata Information option is specially useful when switching to the code editor to modify the visualization code. You can click on any of the fields in the metadata window to copy its name to the clipboard. Then you can paste the field name where you need it in the code editor. See below:
