Generating your web app

You can generate your JavaScript web application with one or many dashboards in a single app. You can generate web applications from the home and dashboard Studio pages.

Generating apps from the ChartFactor Studio home page

To generate a web app from the Studio home page, select one or many dashboards or even a folder containing up to 10 dashboards. Then select the Generate Web App function on the top right corner of the ChartFactor Studio home page.

When generating a web app from the Studio dashboard page, select the Generate Web App function on the top right corner of the ChartFactor Studio dashboard page.

After selecting the Generate Web App function, you are presented with a page similar to the one below:

From here, you can generate your multi-tab web application by pressing the Generate multi-tab web app button where the content of each tab belongs to each selected dashboard. From this page it is also possible to generate web applications one by one from the previously selected dashboards by pressing the Generate web app button in every card.

If you are generating your web app from the dashboard view, you will only see the Generate web app button to generate the application from the currently opened dashboard. See the following image.

After selecting the Generate web app button, Studio will generate, zip, and download the application to your local file system. From there you can publish your web app on your favorite web server.
